Kyle Richards is drawing a hard line in the sand regarding her split from Mauricio Umansky. The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, 57, has made it clear she intends to go after a significant portion of her estranged husband's business assets, including his stake in The Agency, the high-profile real estate firm he founded.
In a recent candid conversation, Richards addressed the financial side of their separation, stating unequivocally that she believes half of Umansky's real estate holdings belong to her. "It's mine," she said, referencing the years she spent supporting the family and helping build the foundation for his success. The couple, who have been married for over 27 years, announced their separation in 2023, but the legal and financial details have remained largely private until now.
Richards argued that her contributions to their household and his career should be recognized in the divorce settlement. She pointed out that while Umansky, 55, was building his business, she was raising their three daughters and managing their home life. "I was there from the beginning. I helped him get where he is," she explained. "There is no way I am walking away from that without what is fair."
The reality star's stance signals a potentially contentious divorce proceeding. Umansky, a prominent real estate agent and founder of The Agency, has built a multi-million dollar portfolio. Richards, who has her own successful acting and reality TV career, is now asserting her legal right to a substantial portion of that wealth. While neither party has filed for divorce yet, the public declaration of her intentions suggests the couple is far from an amicable resolution regarding their finances.
