Chesapeake Real Estate Group, a privately held firm that handles commercial real estate development, investment, and brokerage, has hired Brian Kelly as its new Vice President of Asset Management. The company announced the appointment this week.
Kelly brings over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate to the role. His background includes managing large portfolios of industrial, office, and retail properties. He most recently served as a senior asset manager at a regional investment firm, where he oversaw leasing strategies, capital improvements, and financial performance for a multi-state portfolio.
In his new position at CREG, Kelly will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the company's owned and managed assets. His duties will include developing and executing business plans, managing tenant relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase property values. He will work closely with the acquisitions and development teams to ensure a smooth transition from project completion to stabilized operations.
