Lauren E. Ravazzoli has joined the Real Estate, Construction and Development Service Line at Shumaker, where she will support clients across a broad range of real estate matters. Her arrival adds depth to a practice that handles transactions, development projects and construction related legal work for a variety of clients.
Ravazzoli brings experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing. She works with developers, investors, lenders and property owners on matters that arise throughout the life of a project. Her practice also covers title and survey review, due diligence and the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements.
The real estate group at Shumaker counsels clients on projects that range from single site purchases to large mixed use developments. Attorneys in the service line assist with land use approvals, zoning, construction contracts and closing coordination. Ravazzoli's addition reflects the firm's continued investment in a practice area that remains active despite shifting market conditions.
Clients in the real estate sector face rising construction costs, changing interest rates and evolving local regulations. Having attorneys who understand both the transactional and development sides of a project can help clients move forward with fewer delays. Ravazzoli said she looks forward to working with the firm's existing team to serve clients on these issues.
Shumaker operates across multiple offices and provides legal services in several practice areas, including real estate, construction, business and litigation. The firm continues to expand its real estate capabilities as demand for development and construction counsel grows in the regions it serves.
