New Real Estate Tax App Nears Launch, Minister Says

Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk has announced that an updated version of the Real Estate Tax mobile application will be released soon, part of efforts to make tax services easier for citizens to use. The minister said the upgrade aims to simplify procedures and improve access to real estate tax services through mobile devices, reducing the need for in-person visits to tax offices.

Kouchouk stressed that tax incentives approved under recent reforms are being implemented without delay, and he pointed to ongoing work to modernize the tax system and raise its efficiency. The government, he added, is committed to removing obstacles facing taxpayers and to broadening the tax base through fair and transparent measures.

The minister also noted that the Real Estate Tax Authority is working to improve service quality and shorten processing times, while encouraging citizens to use digital channels for payments and inquiries. He said the updated application would include clearer guidance and faster response times for users.

Officials expect the new version to be available on major mobile platforms in the coming weeks, with awareness campaigns planned to help users adapt to the changes.
