Connolly Brothers Completes 40,000-Square-Foot Aircraft Hangar for FlightLevel Aviation in Danvers

Connolly Brothers Inc. has completed a new 40,000-square-foot aircraft hangar for FlightLevel Aviation at Beverly Regional Airport in Danvers, Massachusetts. The ground-up design-build project provides additional aircraft storage space and supports the growing needs of the aviation operator at the regional airfield.

The hangar was delivered as a full design-build effort, meaning Connolly Brothers handled both the design and construction phases under a single contract. That approach is often used for aviation facilities because it can streamline coordination between the client, engineers, and builders, reducing the chance of delays that come from managing separate design and construction teams.

The new structure adds significant capacity at Beverly Regional Airport, which serves private and business aviation in the region. FlightLevel Aviation, which provides flight training and aircraft services, will use the hangar to house more aircraft and expand its operations.

The completion comes as demand for hangar space remains strong at smaller regional airports, where limited storage capacity has been a persistent constraint for aircraft owners and operators. Building a facility of this size required attention to clear-span construction, large door systems, and fire protection standards specific to aircraft storage.

Connolly Brothers, based in Beverly, Massachusetts, has worked on a range of commercial and industrial projects across the region. The FlightLevel Aviation hangar adds to its portfolio of aviation-related construction work.
